Kim Lagasse

Kim Lagasse has been a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator for the UMASS Extension Nutrition Education Program for 2 years. She holds a master’s degree in Nutrition Interventions, Communication, and Behavior Change from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wheaton College, MA. She loves teaching kids of all ages about how important good nutrition and physical activity are for mental, physical, and social wellbeing. She wants kids to feel empowered to enjoy all foods and to be equipped with tools to help them make healthier food choices that work best for them. It is important for her to celebrate everyone’s unique food preferences and cultures and help kids to love themselves and their personal food choices without fear or guilt surrounding the foods they enjoy. Kim has enjoyed the opportunity to increase her skills as an educator and has been a valued member of the Raynham team.
