Belkis Fermin

Belkis has been a SNAP-Ed educator at the Lawrence office of the UMass Extension Nutrition Education Program, where she has worked for the last 26 years. She enjoys educating the community and the students about the importance of eating healthy and staying active. Her favorite activities are cooking healthy meals, spinning classes, and spending time with her 4 beautiful daughters. Her favorite food is Sancocho soup which is a Dominican dish that has many starchy vegetables and different types of meat.
