During a Facebook Live session, Neftali Duran—a bilingual program coordinator with Cooking Matters Massachusetts—demonstrated a colorful way to make fruits and vegetables fun for children. Neftali, who’s based in Western Massachusetts, led a discussion about how kids can have fun with their food (whether it’s making it or eating it)! We eat with our eyes first, especially when we’re little and just learning about new foods. Neftali prepared a phenomenal veggie tray, using peppers and cucumbers cut to look like train carriages, that kids of all ages would love to help build AND dig into.
